Wall of Hope

In Kathmandu this week, I happened to pass this “Wall of Hope”.

    1. It’s easy to understand why whole villages in India are taking the law into their own hands to deal with perpetrators of violence against women.
And lets not forget emotional violence and abuse, which also can be devastating for the women ‘victims’. I prefer to use the word “survivor” so as not to use language to further intimidate women who have suffered violence. Survivor is empowering, so they don’t remain ‘victimised’.

So terrible how the whole world seems to be seeing more and more violence against women lately.
